Abstract

Status gizi balita adalah masalah penting dalam bidang kesehatan khusunya di Negara berkembang, salah satunya Negara Indonesia. Di Indonesia terdapat 5,7% balita dengan gizi buruk atau sebanyak 26.518 anak, 13,9% gizi kurang, dan 4,5% balita gizi lebih. Menurut Menkes 2017 data mencatat bahwa kota jayapura memiliki prevalensi balita gizi kurang 19,3%, balita pendek 32,3%, dan balita kurus 14,2%. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengidentifikasi status gizi balita di Posyandu Tunas Ardipura II. Metode Penelitian menggunakan menggunakan metode retrospektif atau pengumpulan data yang lama yaitu suatu penelitian dengan mempelajari bagaimana status gizi balita. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder di Posyandu Tunas Ardipura II tahun 2020. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah semua balita yang di Posyandu Tunas Ardipura II Kecamatan Jayapura Selatan pada Juni 2020 yaitu sebesar 60 balita. Hasil penelitian diperoleh balita yang mengalami gizi lebih 11 balita (18.3), gizi normal 46 balita (76.7), gizi kurang 3 balita (5.0) dan tidak terdapat balita yang mengalami gizi buruk. Disarankan untuk melakukan penelitian lanjutan untuk mengurangi kejadian gizi kurang pada balita ______________________________________________________________ The nutritional status of children under five is an important issue in the health sector, especially in developing countries, one of which is Indonesia. In Indonesia, there are 5.7% of children under five with malnutrition or as many as 26,518 children, 13.9% of under nutrition, and 4.5% of children under five are overweight. According to the 2017 Minister of Health, the data recorded that the city of Jayapura had a prevalence of malnourished children under five, 19.3%, 32.3% short under five, and 14.2% underweight. The purpose of this study was to identify the of the nutritional status from children under five at Posyandu Tunas, Ardipura II Village. The research method used retrospective methods or long data collection, namely a study by studying the of the nutritional status of toddlers. This study used secondary data in the form of medical record records at Posyandu Tunas Ardipura II in 2020. The sample in this study were all toddlers at Posyandu Tunas Ardipura II Kecamatan Jayapura Selatan in June 2020, namely 60 toddlers. The results showed that 11 toddlers with over nutrition (18.3), normal nutrition 46 (76.7), poor nutrition 3 under five (5.0) and there were no underfives who experienced malnutrition. It is suggested to conduct further research to reduce the incidence of malnutrition in children under five
